Police are searching for two white men suspected of robbing a Marathon gas station on Industrial Boulevard in Gainesville.

The men produced handguns, demanded cash and ran from the store, according to Cpl. Kevin Holbrook, spokesman with the Gainesville Police Department.

Officers and police dogs are on scene.

Holbrook said it is too early to tell if the robbery is related to one a couple of hours earlier at SunTrust Bank on Thompson Bridge Road.
