2 charged in undercover meth sting

Two men are being held in the Hall County Jail on charges of distributing $18,200 worth of methamphetamine, Hall County officials said.

Multi Agency Narcotics Squad Lt. Scott Ware said Enrique Octavio Arteaga-Talamante, 36, and Felipe Perez-Casillas, 33, were caught in a Monday undercover sting.

Both men were charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.

Perez-Casillas also was charged with possession of cocaine, according to arrest records. Ware said he also was detained for being in the country illegally.

Gainesville police officers and Hall County sheriff’s deputies contributed to the sting, Ware said.
