Olivia Mellon Galloney and Stephen Michael Shockley were united in marriage at 6 p.m. May 5, 2012, at Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Laurel Galloney of Gainesville and James Mellon Galloney of Fort Pierce, Fla. The groom is the son of Jerry and Janice Shockley of Gainesville.

The Rev. Robert Puckett performed the ceremony. Vocalist Erin Nicholson presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her mother. The bride’s sister Fallon Bell Galloney of Gainesville and bride’s friend Kayla Marie Foote were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Kelli Martin of Gainesville, Kaylan Bradley of Gainesville, Nicole Lackey of Atlanta, Maureen Webb of Gainesville, Lauren Bellamy of Washington, D.C., and Dallas Martin of Gainesville. The groom’s cousin Bailey Godfrey of Gainesville was the flower girl.

The groom’s father Jerry Shockley of Gainesville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s friends Shea Whitmire of Gainesville, Nicholas Whitmire of Gainesville, Arthur McPhaul III of Gainesville, Wes Macloskie of Gainesville, Chance Jones of Gainesville, and Corey Bradley of Gainesville. Jackson Macloskie of Gainesville was the ringbearer.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Luna’s Restaurant in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

Following a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple reside in Gainesville.
