St. Nicholas is coming to the Heritage Site on Dec. 1 for the annual Christmas at the Cabin celebration at Sautee Nacoochee. 

Gourds, garlands of greenery, and primitive decorations will adorn the Nacoochee cabin and Christmas trees. Glowing laterns, cinnamon, bees wax, and balsam will infuse the cabin with the atmosphere of the yuletide season.

Tours of the cabin, music and caroling, candy canes and visits with St. Nick are free. Hot mulled cider, gingerbread, and hand-crafted corn shuck crèche characters and creatures will be on sale.

Traditional tunes and songs of the season will be performed by local musicians from just before dusk until just after dark. Music and caroling around the bonfire may continue until the fires are extinguished.
