Paul Payne sank a hole-in-one Friday on hole No. 3 at Chattahoochee Golf Course.
Payne played the hole with an iron. His shot was witnessed by Joe Kolesar, Jere Cochran and Eddie Anderson.
Mona White recorded the low gross score (82) in first flight competition with the Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association last week. Also in the first flight, Sue Cronmiller recorded a 68 for the low net score. In the second flight, Nora Gleason (104) had the low gross and Nancy Norris (70) had the low net. Ann White was closest to the pin on No. 5, and Beulah Land took the honor on No. 12.
