Falcons list Jones, Weatherspoon as questionable

POSTED: November 16, 2012 4:47 p.m.

FLOWERY BRANCH — Receiver Julio Jones and linebacker Sean Weatherspoon are listed as questionable for the Atlanta Falcons' game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Jones sprained his right ankle in last week's loss at New Orleans and missed practice this week.

Weatherspoon hasn't practiced in two weeks, but the Falcons (8-1) hope he can return on Sunday when Arizona (4-5) visits the Georgia Dome.

Running back Michael Turner (groin), defensive end John Abraham (back) and defensive tackle Vance Walker (ribs) are also listed as questionable. All three players practiced on Friday but were limited.

Jones, the NFL's No. 6 overall draft pick in 2011, has 44 catches for 703 yards and five touchdowns this year.
Weatherspoon, the 19th overall pick in 2010, is in his first as an every-down linebacker.
