Lake Lanier Fishing Report: Thanksgiving usually a good time to catch bass

Lake Lanier water temperatures are in the upper 50s. The Corps is pulling out a lot of water and the lake level is at 1,059.20 feet, or 11.80 below a full pool of 1,071. As mentioned in the recent article in The Times, it looks as if we can expect to drop 6 inches a week through the winter unless we see some significant rains.
