Courtney Jo Hawkins and Sean Wesley Thomas were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Oct. 20, 2012. The bride is the daughter of Joe and Rita Hawkins of Lula. The groom is the son of Wayne and Debe Thomas of Jefferson.

Pastor Rod Zwemke performed the ceremony. Harpist Elizabeth Bennett presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Alana Swain of Cleveland, Amber Rogers of Clermont, Noel Ventrice of Baldwin, and groom’s sister Kassondra Thomas of Jefferson.

Groomsmen were the groom’s friends Greg Singleton of Buford, Tim Singleton of Buford, Michael Starbuck of Marietta, and Neil Hammad of Marietta.

Natalie Thomas was the wedding coordinator.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at 2 Dog Cafe in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at their residence in Lula following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to the Bahamas, the couple reside in Lula.
