Motorists traveling south on Interstate 985 should expect delays today through Friday as Georgia Department of Transportation crews perform maintenance work.

Workers will be setting the correct grade for proper drainage on shoulders and medians between Friendship Road/Lanier Islands Parkway in South Hall to Interstate 85 in Gwinnett County.

The work is set to take place, weather permitting, between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day, and will involve lane closures.
