Jackson Britton led the North Georgia Christian Chargers basketball team to a 50-47 win in the season opener against Mountain Area Christian Academy in Oakwood.

Britton scored a team-high 16 points, Sam Youngblood added 14 and Norris Rettiger 12 for the
Chargers (1-0).

NORTH GEORGIA GIRLS 39, MOUNTAIN AREA 22: Julianne Sutton scored 10 points to lead the Lady Chargers (1-0), Jordan Ball and Sarah Rhodes each added eight points, and Nicole Ball chipped in seven.
