The North Georgia College & State University men’s golf team placed third in the Matt Dyas Invitational hosted by the University of West Georgia on Tuesday in Carrollton.
Lumpkin County graduate and current NGCSU sophomore Aaron George finished the tournament in a tie for third after entering the final round in the lead. He carded an 81 in Tuesday’s round to give him a 226 for the three rounds.
North Georgia’s Zach Caldwell finished with a 231 in a tie for 11th, just two strokes ahead of Will McFarlin who tied for 13th with a 233.
