Two 14-year-olds have been charged in the Oct. 20 armed robbery of a taxi at Harrison Square apartments in Gainesville.
At about 8 p.m. officers responded to the complex at 815 Harrison Square off Athens Street, where reports indicated three male suspects entered a taxi and robbed the driver at gunpoint, Cpl. Kevin Holbrook with the Gainesville Police said.
The suspects ran from the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. The driver was not injured.
Police developed a number of leads and charged the two juveniles with armed robbery and aggravated assault, Holbrook said. They are seeking a third suspect in connection with the incident.
