Johnson fell to Pickens 49-21 on Friday in Jasper.
Dre Johnson had a 100-yard interception return for a touchdown for the Knights.
Cedric Harris had 88 yard rushing and a touchdown for Johnson (5-4), and A.J. Millwood recorded 51 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Quarterback Paul Barker passed for 65 yards.
The Knights offense totaled 229 yards in the effort.
Johnson is off next Friday but will play the Region 7-AAAA team not participating in the region play-in schedule on Nov. 9 at a location to be determined.
