Milton Martin earns spot on Top 100 Dealer to Work For list

Milton Martin Toyota-Scion of Gainesville has been cited by Automotive News as one of its Top 100 Dealers to Work For for 2012.

Milton Martin was chosen among the best medium-sized dealerships in a ranking of those who have between 50 and 99 employees. The selection was from among some 20,600 companies nationwide.

Mike, Ricky and Tommy Martin received the award last week on behalf of the dealership at an event in Chicago.

Mike Martin and his brother Ricky are the owners. Their father, Milton Martin, founded the dealership in 1961 selling used cars, and purchased the Toyota business about nine years later.

As the Automotive News story states, the dealership offers staff members financial-education workshops using a curriculum developed by Crown Financial Ministries. He also offers spiritually centered classes.

“We believe if you’ve got deep values, you’ll have long-standing growth,” Tommy Martin told Automotive News.
