	Gainesville couple charged with aggravated child molestation

A Gainesville couple were charged Tuesday with aggravated child molestation for incidents involving a 14-year-old girl.

Brittany Lee Smith, 26, and Corey Dave Smith, 32, both were booked into the Hall County Jail on those charges and an additional charge of child molestation for Corey Smith.

The incidents happened between Aug. 1 and Sept. 20 in the Sardis area of northwestern Hall County, said Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks, Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokesman.

Both are currently being held without bond, Wilbanks said.
