1 person killed in single-vehicle wreck in East Hall

2 others transported to Grady Hospital with injuries

One person was killed and two seriously injured in an single-vehicle accident early Tuesday afternoon on Roy Parks Road near Talmo Road in East Hall County.

One passenger, Zachery Lee Parker, 30, of Warthen was killed. The driver, Terri Lynn Harris, 35, of Gainesville was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta for treatment of injuries.

The accident occurred around 1 p.m. when a 1996 Chrysler Town & Country minivan left the road, struck a tree and overturned before coming to rest upright, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Another passenger, Trina Nycole Warren, 29, of Gainesville first was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, then later transferred to Grady.

Four children riding in the vehicle were treated for minor injuries at the Medical Center and released. They were Michaela Harris, 8; Emma Green, 7; and Grady Alana Warren and Payton Harris, both 6. All are from Gainesville.

The two women injured are mothers of all four children.

The state patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
