Debra Nadelhoffer, Georgia’s extraordinary plein air artist and teacher, selected the following awards at the August Georgia Art League Arty Party at the Quinlan Visual Arts Center.

First place to Dana Ross’ wood sculpture; second place to Charles Stephens’ photograph; third place to Jane Hemmer’s bronze.

Honorable mentions were awarded to Cynthia Miller, Ann Goble, Heidi Bowman, Cynthia Todd, and Sharon Farkas.

The President’s Award went to Betty Laws Smith, the Quinlan Award of Excellence went to Mary Ann Klimek, and the Member’s Choice went to Ann Alexander. This was the largest show ever for the GAL with 77 submissions of art. Visit www.georgiaartleague.org for more information.
