A second arrest has been made in the death of a Flowery Branch man last month in Florida.

Isaiah Brooks, 18, of West Palm Beach, Fla., was arrested Thursday on charges of first degree murder, armed robbery and two counts of grand theft in connection with the Sept. 17 death of Jimmy Price, 41, of Flowery Branch, according to a news release from the Riviera Beach Police Department.

Price was shot to death in Riviera Beach, Fla., a few miles from where he was staying in West Palm Beach, and his rental car was stolen, according to police spokeswoman Rose Anne Brown.

Brown said police got an indication that shots had been fired in the 1600 block of West 28th Street a few minutes after 11 p.m. Price was found dead at the scene with a single gunshot wound.

U.S. marshals found Brooks at 5101 Maine St. in Lake Worth, Fla. Brown said additional arrests in the case are possible.

Lavonnte O. Jerry, 21, of Riviera Beach was arrested earlier in connection with the slaying.

He is charged with first degree murder, armed robbery and grand theft, according to jail records.

Brooks was transported to the Palm Beach County Jail. Jerry also is being held at that jail.

Price’s friends said he worked for Pinnacle Technology Resources in Suwanee and was in Florida on business, working on a remodeling project for a Toys R Us store.
