Piedmont College women’s golfer Katarina Hodge posted a pair of new school records with a score of 71-69-140 to finish tied for second at the Southern Shootout hosted by Birmingham Southern University on Monday in Birmingham.
As a team, Piedmont finished 13th out of 22 teams, edging local NCAA Division II foe North Georgia College & State University by a single stroke after posting a season-best team score of 314-316-630.
Piedmont will wrap up the fall portion of its schedule NCAA Division III Fall Preview on Oct. 14-16 at Baytowne Golf Course in Miramar Beach, Fla.
