A wreck Tuesday night on Browns Bridge Road at Cresswind Drive killed one, authorities said.
The driver of a motorcycle was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center after it was determined that he was too critical to transport by helicopter to a trauma center in Atlanta, Capt. Scott Cagle with Hall County Fire Services said.
Gainesville Police spokesman Kevin Holbrook later said the driver died.
The incident happened about 7:51 p.m. and involved the motorcycle and one other vehicle.
Browns Bridge Road near the Cresswind subdivision was shut down due to the accident.
