Laykin Herford recorded 25 assists for West Hall in wins over Meadowcreek (25-7, 25-4) and Cedar Shoals (25-7, 25-3) and a loss to East Hall (25-20, 26-24) on Tuesday in Oakwood.
LeNiesha Kearse and Kelsi Jones each had 18 kills for the Lady Spartans (22-15, 3-4), and Carrie Ruis added 13 aces.
West Hall travels to the Monroe Invitational this weekend in Monroe.
