The Young Harris College women’s golf team finished in 13th place at the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday in Rome.
The Mountain Lions shot a season-low score of 343 in the final round at the Stonebridge Golf Club to finish the 36-hole tournament at 709. The University of Cumberlands won the event as they shot 305 in the final round and finished at 618.
Kelsey McEntyre tied for 23rd place at 161 after carding a 77. This was the final tournament of the fall for the Mountain Lions.
NORTH GEORGIA MEN FINISH NINTH: The North Georgia College & State University men’s golf team fell one spot in the final round to finish ninth in the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate on Tuesday in Myrtle Beach.
Three Saints finished in a tie for 25th place as Grant Rish carded a 70 Tuesday to tie teammates Zach Caldwell and Aaron George with a two-round stroke count of 145.
North Georgia will continue its fall schedule at the Matt Dyas Memorial on Oct. 29-30 in Carrollton.
