It’s all about natural fibers this weekend.
Thunder River Alpacas will open its farm to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 29 at 7830 Thunder River Way, Cumming.
Visitors can take part in farm tours, spinning, knitting, crocheting, fleece demonstrations and pet the alpacas for free. Refreshments will be offered.
The Farm Store offers alpaca products such as throws, socks, hats, scarves, gloves, shawls, yarn, roving, raw fleece, finger puppets and stuffed animals. And those looking to acquire an alpaca can choose from a selection of animals.
Thunder River Alpacas will be at Only Ewe and Cotton Too from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at 12315 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta.
