Commerce rallied to defeat Rabun County 18-17 Friday night in Commerce.
The Tigers trailed 17-6 going into the fourth quarter but were able to mount a comeback on the backs of Jamal Browner and Drew Whitfield in the win.
Commerce (4-0) had the ball at the beginning of the fourth quarter and ran 16 plays for 85 yards leading to Browner taking the ball in from 9 yards for a touchdown to start the rally. On the following play, Whitfield recovered the onside kick at the 43-yard line, and with 19 seconds left, Whitfield scored from the 4 to secure the win for Commerce.
Whitfield had 22 carries for 98 yards and a touchdown on the night, and Terrick Ramsey ran 16 times for 113 yards and a touchdown.
Chase Ledbetter led the defense with eight tackles on the night.
Commerce travels to George Walton Academy next Friday in Monroe.
