North Georgia women rise to No. 5

The North Georgia College & State University women’s soccer team jumped to No. 5 in the National Soccer Coaches of America Association (NSCAA)/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Women’s National Poll, setting a new program record.

North Georgia is now ranked No. 1 in the Southeast Region ahead of Armstrong Atlantic, Columbus State, Lenoir-Rhyne and Flagler College.

The Saints take on Georgia College at 1 p.m. Saturday in Dahlonega.
