Rabun offense overwhelms Towns, 45-7

Rabun County saw scoring come from all areas of its offense in a 45-7 win over Towns County on Friday in Tiger.

Jeb Gibson opened scoring on a 53-yard punt return for a touchdown, and Charlie Woerner had a 90-yard reception for another score. Collin Grant caught a 7-yard pass for a score, and Alden Wright had a 21-yard touchdown reception.

Wes Holcombe had 13 carries for 93 yards rushing and was 11 for 20 passing for 186 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.

Kendall Woodard had five carries for 52 yards, and Austin Swann led the team on defense with six individual tackles and one assist.

Rabun County visits Commerce on Friday in Commerce, and Towns County faces Rabun Gap next Friday in Hiawassee.
