Justin Whitaker scored for Piedmont College in the first 20 seconds of the game to lead the Lions to a 3-1 victory over Emory & Henry College on Wednesday in Demorest.

Sidney Smith extended the lead to 2-0 before halftime, and Whitaker scored his second goal just nine minutes into the second half.

Piedmont College travels to Ferrum College this afternoon in Ferrum, Va.
