Georgia outside linebacker Jarvis Jones has been named the FWAA/Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week and the Chuck Bednarik Player of the Week for his performance against Missouri.

In the victory, Jones had nine tackles, two sacks, an interception, two forced fumbles and five quarterback pressures.

His interception and sack in the fourth quarter led to 14 points for Georgia on Saturday.

The Bulldogs return to action against Florida Atlantic University this Saturday in Athens.
