Georgia's Jones named National Player of the Week

University of Georgia junior outside linebacker Jarvis Jones has been named the Walter Camp National Player of the Week and the Southeastern Conference Defensive Player of the Week following his performance at Missouri.

Jones recorded nine tackles, his first career interception, two forced fumbles and five quarterback pressures in the win last weekend. It is Jones’ second time in his career to win the weekly Walter Camp award.

The Bulldogs (2-0, 1-0 SEC) face Florida Atlantic University (1-1, 0-1 Sun Belt) on Saturday in Athens.
