Tori Payton recorded 25 assists for Buford in wins in straight sets over Decatur (25-15, 25-11) and West Hall (25-17, 25-17) on Tuesday in Decatur.

Maggie Roper added 13 kills and 12 digs for the Lady Wolves (5-6), and Kaitlin Tatum had nine kills and three blocks. Corbin Farr tallied 10 digs on the night.

Buford travels to Johns Creek on Thursday for a tri-match with Johns Creek and North Gwinnett.

LeNiesha Kearse led West Hall to a win over Decatur (13-25, 25-22, 25-20) with 12 kills and 10 blocks.

Kelsi Jones added 15 kills and five blocks for West Hall (10-5, 1-1 Area 5-AAA), and Laykin Herford had 19 assists.

The Lady Spartans travel to Roswell this weekend for the Georgia Challenge.

EAST HALL SWEEPS PAIR: Brittney Campbell had 23 points on serve with 13 aces, 30 assists and six digs with a 21-point service run for East Hall in wins over North Hall (25-19, 25-16) and Cross Keys (25-1, 25-13) in straight sets on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Kara Hix recorded 30 digs, five aces and four kills for the Lady Vikings (11-4, 2-0 Area 5-AAA), and Tarryn Long had 11 kills, a pair of aces and a pair of digs.

East Hall travels to Winder-Barrow for a tri-match with Winder-Barrow and Flowery Branch on Thursday in Winder.

Softball

Bailey Byers went 1 for 3 with an RBI for Union County in a 6-1 loss to Dawson County on Tuesday in Blairsville.

Madison Rich was 1 for 2 for the Lady Panthers (10-3), and Madison Garrett went 1 for 1.

Union County faces Rabun County on Thursday in Blairsville.
