Kayla Street had six strikeouts and was 2 for 4 at the plate for Gainesville in a 3-2 win over Chestatee on Thursday in Gainesville.

Kayla Montague, Kara England, Whitney Ledford, and Kaitlyn Roper all added hits for the Lady Red Elephants (2-12).

The Lady Red Elephants return to action against Apalachee on Tuesday in Winder.

Chestatee faces Eastside on Tuesday in Covington.

JACKSON COUNTY 4, HART COUNTY 1 (THURSDAY): Peyton Sorrells picked up the win from the circle for Jackson County (6-9-1) with six strikeouts on Thursday in Hartwell.

Shelton Kendrix was 3 for 4 for the Lady Panthers with three RBIs, and Madi Pecht was 2 for 4 with an RBI and a pair of runs scored.

Jackson County plays host to Oconee County on Tuesday in Jefferson.

NORTH HALL 8, WHITE COUNTY 6 (THURSDAY): Harper Seymour had two singles and a double for North Hall on Thursday in Gainesville. Kaitlyn Edwards and Hannah Meeler combined to get the win for the Lady Trojans.

Brandi Morris added a single and a double for North Hall, Alyx Kanaday had a single, and Ellie Forrester had a double.

The Lady Trojans take on Fannin County on Thursday in Blue Ridge.
