Union County slipped past Towns County 17-14 on Friday night in the teams' football season opener in Hiawassee. T Bentley was 6 for 16 with 101 yards passing for the Panthers. Josh Kim had a reception for 37 yards and a touchdown, and Lalo Rivera also had a reception for a 38-yard score. The Panthers recorded 169 total yards rushing and 110 yards passing. Union County faces Fannin County next Friday in Blairsville. |
