The North Georgia College & State University women’s soccer team fell 2-0 to Emory University in an exhibition match on Wednesday in Dahlonega.

Charlotte Butker and Jennifer Grant scored for the Eagles, tallying both in the first half of the game. Kaele Leonard and Erica Stein combined for seven saves for Emory, while Saints’ keeper Mallory Sayre recorded three saves.

North Georgia opens its regular season against Alabama-Huntsville on Aug. 30 in Huntsville.
