The North Georgia College and State University Saints women’s soccer team starts the season picked third overall in the Peach Belt Conference Coaches’ Poll, released Monday.
The Saints are ranked behind defending league champion Armstrong Atlantic State University and Columbus State University.
Last season, the Lady Saints made the program’s first NCAA Division II tournament appearance, finishing 8-1-1 in the league and 16-3-1 overall.
The Lady Saints open the regular season Aug. 30 at Alabama-Huntsville.
