Whitney Kendell Bragg and Nicholas Ryan McCormac were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Aug. 4, 2012, at The Center for Contemporary Arts in Columbia, S.C. The bride is the daughter of Jeffrey Bragg of Washington, D.C., and Gail Bragg of Columbia, S.C. The groom is the son of Mike and Robbie McCormac of Gainesville.

Dr. Hal W. French performed the ceremony. A string quartet presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s sister Ashley Auspelmyer of Columbia, S.C., was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Sara Stewart and Halie Brazier, both of Columbia, S.C.

The groom’s brother Patrick McCormac of Gainesville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s friends Will Royster, Scott Auspelmyer and Aaron Brazier, all of Columbia, S.C.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Flying Saucer Restaurant in Columbia, S.C., on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at The Center for Contemporary Arts in Columbia, S.C., following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Brussels, Belgium, the couple reside in Columbia, S.C.
