Chris and Laura Wells of Loganville, announce the engagement of their daughter Kristen Nicole Wells to Jeremy Daniel Clark, son of David and Deborah Clark of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Pat and Leroy Pirkle of Snellville, George Arnold of Stockbridge, Lennis Wells of Snellville, and the late Linda Wells of Tucker.

She is a 2005 graduate of South Gwinnett High School in Snellville. She graduated in 2009 from North Georgia College & State University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and special education. She is pursuing a master’s degree at Georgia State University in Atlanta. She is employed as a special education teacher by Gwinnett County Public Schools in Duluth.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Helen McDonald and the late Lee McDonald of Gainesville, and the late James and Hazel Clark of Gainesville.

He is a 2000 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. He graduated in 2002 from Lanier Tech with an associates degree in electronics. He is employed as a lead technician by DB Audio and Video in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed Oct. 6, 2012, at First Baptist Chapel in Gainesville.
