Runners will converge Saturday on Jaemor Farm, Aug. 4, for a 5K Walk/Run to help the family of Lance Cpl. Sean Adams. Adams was recently injured in Afghanistan and the Chestatee grad is now on the road to recovery.

The race starts at 8 a.m., with registration at 7. The course will take runners through the hills and orchard of the farm located at 5340 Cornelia Highway in Alto. Cost per runner is $35 and refreshments will be provided throughout the course. Shuttle buses will take runners back to the parking lot. Register online at active.com.
