POSTED: July 22, 2012 11:18 p.m.

The Triple-A Gwinnett Braves dropped their third straight game, losing 4-3 to the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Yankees on Sunday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.

Trailing 3-0 in the seventh inning, Gwinnett started to rally with a lead-off single by Ernesto Mejia, two-out single by Ruben Gotay and two-run double down the right field line by Jose Yepez.

Yepez finished the game 2 for 4 with the pair of RBIs for the G-Braves.

In the eighth inning, Gwinnett tied the score at 3-all. Jose Constanza lead off the inning with a single, then moved to third on a wild pick-off throw from the Yankees pitcher. He came in to score on an RBI single by Luis Durango.

The G-Braves loaded the bases before the inning ended on walks from Mejia and Stefan Gartrell, but Gwinnett’s Josh Wilson struck out to end the inning.

The final game of the series and the season between these two teams is at 7 p.m. tonight at Coolray Field.
