Twelve riders from Hall County 4-H Horse Club competed in the Georgia State 4-H Horse show held at the Georgia National Fairgrounds. 4-H riders from across the state competed in western, hunt seat, dressage and jumping events. Hall 4-H Horse Club members brought home numerous awards including:

Cloverleaf Level: Gracie McBride won overall champion of the cloverleaf hunt seat division, first in cloverleaf western horsemanship, third in cloverleaf hunter under saddle and second in cloverleaf hunt seat equitation.

Ali Meek won overall reserve champion of the cloverleaf hunt seat division plus first in cloverleaf hunter under saddle.Cody Woodard

placed third overall in cloverleaf western division plus second in western showmanship, first in western pleasure, second in public speaking demo, second in essay and second in photo contests.Junior Level: Mae Musselwhite won overall reserve champion in western division plus second in western pleasure, and second in western trail and third in dressage.

Senior Level: Courtney Woodard won champion in the senior contesting division and has received master status and will be honored at state congress in July and will compete at southern regional event. Courtney also placed third in public speaking, second in stake race and the arena race and third in barrel racing.

Kristy Barrett placed third in hunter hack class.
