Gainesville man dies after wreck on Ga. 60

A Gainesville man has died after an accident on Ga. 60 near Southers on Friday.

Donald McLean Hughes, 77, of Gainesville pulled from a private driveway at about 7:40 a.m. into the path of an oncoming vehicle and was hit on the driver’s side at an angle, the Georgia State Patrol said in an email.

Hughes died Monday.
