A 14-year-old boy was flown to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta on Monday night with a head injury after a skateboarding accident in South Hall County, according to Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks, spokesman with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident happened in the 6400 block of Mossy Boulder Court as the boy lost control of his skateboard, struck his head and lost consciousness, authorities said.
Wilbanks was unsure whether the boy was wearing a helmet and did not know his condition on Tuesday.
