Hall County emergency officials shut down westbound lanes of Dawsonville Highway earlier today to transport a potential accident victim by helicopter.

The lanes were closed for abour 20 minutes about one mile east of the Sardis Road intersection after a one-vehicle wreck that may have resulted in a serious injury.

Police radio reports indicated that one person may have been ejected from the vehicle.
