The Gainesville American 10-11 Little League All-Stars lost 6-5 on Thursday night to Athens in the District 10 tournament, forcing a deciding game to crown the champion at 6:30 tonight at Lanier Point in Gainesville. The winner advances to the state tournament starting July 14 in Savannah. In the 11-12 division, Gainesville American was eliminated from the tournament with a 16-6 loss to Newton American. |
