The Gainesville American 11-12 Little League All Star team defeated Walton National 16-8 Wednesday at Lanier Point to advance in the District 10 tournament.

The team will play at 6 p.m. tonight, as will the Gainesville American 10-11 All Star team, which will be playing the winner of the losers bracket for the district title. The Gainesville National 10-11 team fell to Athens 15-0 Wednesday and was eliminated from the tournament.
