Former Flowery Branch High and current South Carolina runner Erika Rucker qualified for the International Association of Athletics Federation World Junior Championships after taking second overall in the 400-meter dash at the USA Junior National Championships this weekend.

The IAAF World Junior Championships will be held July 10-15 at Olympic Stadium in Barcelona, Spain, where Rucker will compete in the 400-meter dash and as a member of the USA 1600-meter relay team.
