Lasseter leads Gainesville golfers at Georgia Junior Championship

Five Gainesville High golfers made the 70-player cut after 36 holes at the Georgia Junior Championship at Doublegate Country Club in Albany.

Grant Lasseter finished the second round on Tuesday tied for 13th at 3-over par. Jackson Bishop was tied for 29th at 6-over par, and Pep Brown was tied for 40th at 8-over par.

Reeves Bell and Lawson King finished tied for 57th at 10-over par.

The final round of the championship is today in Albany.
