The bride is the daughter of Swain and Wanda Stewart of Clermont. The groom is the son of Judy Warren Scott of Clarkesville, and J. Michael Scott of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Floyd and Mary Knight of Sugar Hill, and Dorothy Stewart of Cleveland, and the late Elmer Stewart of Gainesville.

She is employed as an assistant vice president at United Community Bank in Blairsville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Janie P. Taylor and the late Melvin Taylor of Tiger, and the late Raymond E. and Mary L. Scott of Blairsville.

He is employed as a funeral service apprentice by Memorial Park Funeral Homes in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed June 23, 2012, at Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris.
