Some 65 children participating in the Children’s Musical Theatre Workshop will be presenting “How I Became a Pirate” today and Thursday at the Gainesville High School Performing Arts Center. Earlier in the week the group was conducting dress rehearsals of the production. The show, sponsored by Gainesville Parks and Recreation, will have four performances, 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. today and Thursday. Adult tickets are $10, the price for children 2-18 and seniors is $5. Tickets may be purchased at the Parks and Recreation office in the Gainesville Civic Center or at the door.
