Elizabeth Ann Morrison and Jerrald Jerome Sloan were united in marriage April 28, 2012, at Victory Baptist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Clara Mae Morrison and the late Earl L. Morrison Sr. of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Betty Sloan and the late Lee J. Sloan of Alto.

The Rev. Steve F. Brannon performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her brother Carl L. Morrison. The bride’s sister-in-law Lavonda Morrison of Gainesville was matron of honor. The bride’s great nieces McKenzie Holman of Gainesville and Christine Duff of Dahlonega were the flower girls.

The groom’s nephew Jeremiah Poole of Hull was the best man.

The bride wore her grandmother’s wedding set on her right hand and her grandmother’s dove pin.

The bride’s family gave a reception at Victory Baptist Church in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tenn., the couple reside in Gainesville.
