Beth and Derrick Rohmeyer and the late Richard Pursley of Cleveland announce the engagement of their daughter Brittany Nichole Pursley to Corey David Black, son of David and Elaine Black of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ed and Leona Allen of Cleveland.

She is a 2007 graduate of Chestatee High School in Gainesville. She is a 2008 graduate of Academy of Beauty in Gainesville. She is employed as a master cosmetologist at Bella Soul Salon in Clermont.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Janie Kemp of Gainesville, Bill Black of Dahlonega, and Guy and Maye Miller of Gainesville.

He is a 2006 graduate of Chestatee High School in Gainesville. He is the owner of Corey’s Mobile Detailing in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed Sept. 8, 2012, at Lake Laceola Clubhouse in Cleveland.
